Mocha's 2009 litter updates

Hi Kate,

I stopped by your website and saw that Mocha is due with another litter in December. How exciting! We LOVE Ruby (Rainbow). She has been the best dog. Took her to the vet yesterday and she weighs 70 pounds. He sister Lucy ( my sister and brother in law's dog) is about 5-10 pounds bigger. I can't remember what color she was- maybe white? (was green)

Since she recently turned one, I thought I would send you a picture:) Thank you so much for breeding such great dogs!

Just thought I would share some pics with you. (Meeka is the white collar puppy)

She weighs In at 68lbs right now. She was up to 74 and the vet thought she was a little heavy so we cut her food down a bit and made sure she was getting more exercise. She has developed some white on her tail which surprised us but she is a beautiful dog. Still thinks she is a lap dog though. We are having an issue with food allergies though. Looks like she is allergic to chicken. We have her on a salmon and potato diet and try to keep her out of anything with chicken in it. She develops hotspots when she eats chicken. Took her to Cougar reservoir this past weekend and got her out in the water. She loved it once she decided to start swimming.

Maddie is wonderful. She weighs in at 71 lbs. She gets so excited to see us when we get home, her whole body shakes and wiggles. She hardly ever barks, loves to play and eat. I just got pictures taken of Luke and Maddie and wanted to share with you. Maddie is beautiful and we love so much. Thank you, thank you for such a wonderful addition to our life.

Hi Kate Written August 2010 (blue collar)

I cannot believe it, but it has been nearly one year since Riley was born! This year has been so amazing with him being added to our home. We have enjoyed the snow, the sun and the beach! I must say – Riley really loves water and people. He is very social! Next to being loving, he loves to sleep ! If he is not sleeping he is more than likely playing with Katie our other lab. Currently, he is near or about the size of Mocha! He has a wonderful temperament and we look forward to the next few months as we will start placing him in some training. I have taken a moment to attach a couple photos from this summer from many of our camping trips on the coast. If you have pictures of the other dogs and willing to share them, we would love to see! We hope all is well with your family!

Thank you for the wonderful Christmas card – I have attached a pic with both Bear and Drake in it – At 3 months old he weighted 30 pounds – he is going to be huge - He and drake get a long great – His personality is so different – he is much more vocal than Drake

Hi Kate, my sister krissy said you were putting up pics of Mochas 2009 litter. I thought I send a few of Lucy and some of Lucy and Ruby (rainbow). I just have to say we LOVE LOVE LOVE Lucy! The kids love her. My daughter and her are really close. Maddie will lay with Lucy for hours just talking to her and singing to her. And Lucy just lays there loving every minute. Thank you for breeding such wonderful dogs. My husband hopes to train her to hunt with him in the future and we're confident she'll do a great job, cause she trains so easily. Her only quirk is she is crazy about reflections on the walls :) The kids can get her to turn lights on and off by reflecting a light flash on the light switch. It's pretty cute, and a favortie trick to show our guest. So thank you again. Honestly if we had a bigger house we'd come buy one of your 2010 puppies. Maybe next year!
