Wondering what we feed our rabbits?
We feed our herd a fresh unlimited supply of TIMOTHY HAY and a limited amount of rabbit pellets and fresh water daily. We use a 16% or 18% protein pellet and add vitamins to their water. We offer fresh fruits and vegies as well.
We also feed our rabbits wheat germ oil with their feed a few times a month.
Apple tree twigs are an excellent source of roughage for your rabbit as well.
Exercise is a key part of our herds health. They are free to roam in their
15' X 5' runs. Our breeding does are brought in to our rabbit building several days prior to kindling.
